This little fella has been sitting in my desk for months, including the entire lockdown and several minor quarantines in my local area. Intended as a birthday gift for a friend with a Deathwatch kill team, he finally will be deployed.
A fun and simple conversion using a Dark Vengeance terminator and a spare assault cannon (as I am converting a second unit of those terminator into assault terminator, their poses were superb for that).
First try with the black armour scheme I was also practising for a Black Templar detachment. I used a warm black and grey, mixing some red and purple instead of the typical neutral or cold greys.
The power fist and the assault cannon use the old Space Crusade/Rogue Trader/Space Hulk terminator markings. The assault cannon checked pattern was a pain in the ass as I should have painted it before assembling. Good to know next time.
Fun little project until the real eldary thing of 2021 begins!
